Programme

 CCJ meetings generally take place on the first Monday of each month (unless rescheduled due to public or religious holidays). Our meetings are held at 7:30pm in the auditorium at King Edward VII School in Upper Houghton.  For a map showing the venue, and to contact us, click on Contact/Find Us in the menu above.

All entries of images for judging need to be submitted via Photovault, with the deadline usually being the end of the Saturday prior to the Monday club meeting.

    • Four images for regular judging and advancement.
    • Two images for the set subject ‘Altered Reality
  • 7 September 2026
    • Four images for regular judging and advancement.
    • Two images for the set subject ‘Prime Colours
  • 5 October 2026
    • Four images for regular judging and advancement.
    • Des Berkowitz Portfolio trophy: ‘6 from 1‘ – six images of the same subject/topic with an accompanying article about the inspiration for the choice of the topic and the decisions behind the different images
      • The first image needs to be a record image of the topic and the other five images need to be different interpretations/views/edits of the same subject to show the author’s diversity in photography, post-processing and artistic ability. You also need to write a short essay about what inspired you to choose this topic and how you decided on the creative images
